inspired by the political, social and psychological power of chanting, 'from the river to the sea' is mi-el's debut production, releasing as a charity single in support of MAP (Medical Aid for Palestinians).
the entire track is made from vocal samples, utilising the power of the voice and the body, which embody a visceral energy that is completely inimitable by any digital instrument.
the production is a global collaboration, featuring the recitation of "from the river, to the sea, Palestine will be free" in 22 different languages.
